Spiderman, Spiderman, Does Whatever a Spider Can

We had Hudson's b-day party this past weekend when we were in Saskatoon. We had a small party with Papa, Grandma, Uncle Jay, Auntie Kristy, Liv and Will (and of course, Craig and I). Hudson sure had a good time with Craig's parents and his cousins last week, but I am happy to have him home.

Spiderman was the theme. Hudson is VERY much into Spiderman right now--don't really know how that happened, but he plays spiderman all day every day. We had pizza for supper and ice cream cake for dessert. Yum!

The Spiderman Ice Cream Cake from good ol' D.Q.

Instead of party hats, we got spiderman masks. Hudson and Will would not take theirs off--Liv wouldn't put one on. Here's Spidey after he just woke from his nap and found the house all decorated for his party.

I got the kids silly string to be their "spiderman" webs.

Will and Hudson in their masks.

Pinata fun--it was filled with sunglasses, wallets and boxer briefs for the boys, a tank top, flip flops and purse for Liv. There was also a bit of candy.

Opening his gifts--still couldn't get him to take off that mask!!

Giving Grandma a big hug and thank you.

Papa and Grandma got him this goal--it plays music and everything--be sure to catch the video that follows of how Hudson likes to play with this new gift!

Day after the party, we had our family Easter. The kids had an coloured eggs, had a treasure hunt to find their chocolate bunnies, and had an egg hunt. Busy day.

When we sat the kids down to colour eggs, Grandma had put the water and vinegar into the mugs already. When she gave Hudson a tablet to put in the mug, he promptly put it into his mouth and chewed it up and swallowed it!! Mouth became BRIGHT pink! Grandma freaked for a moment and washed his mouth out. The next day, and this is NO lie, his poop was bright pink!! Even when I wiped his little bum, the paper was streaked ONLY pink! Poor kid! He sure didn't let that bug him--he was facinated by the pink poop. Sorry if that was too much info.

Now enjoy our Hudson--this video captures him being 100% himself. Craig was getting bugged that he was shooting the puppy and not the ball.

What a great video. Who taught him how to dance?

I am dying laughing about the pink poo! That is great! What a great party. Karter is just now getting into Spiderman. I agree. I'm not sure how it happens, it just does. Boys are so fun!
